Full kitchen and bathroom remodels with licensed partner Artem Orlov, CSLB #1138335. Call or text (310) 593-3453 with a photo for a price.
Handyman work in California is limited to jobs under $1,000 in labor and materials. Remodels are bigger than that and often need permits, so I do them together with my partner Artem Orlov of Artie Home Service, a licensed contractor:
You can check the license yourself on the CSLB website. For remodeling projects your contract is with Artem’s licensed business, and Artem and I do the work as a team.
The bathroom in the photos started with water-damaged walls and an old vanity. It was taken back to the framing and rebuilt with a new tub surround, vanity, toilet and lighting.
Yurii did an excellent job repairing a leak in our shower drainage and drywall ceiling. He was professional, attentive to details, and went above and beyond exceeding our expectations. On top of that he worked neatly and cleaned up all construction debris.
The water to our house is hard, which has made taking older faucets off near impossible. Yurii came in with all of his tools and was able to successfully uninstall the older faucets and install the new ones. I also appreciated his attention to detail on final sealing and his cleanliness.
For remodeling projects the contract is with Artem Orlov (Artie Home Service), CSLB #1138335. Yurii works on the project with him.

Yes, when the work requires them. Moving plumbing or adding circuits usually does. Replacing cabinets in the same layout usually doesn’t.
Yes. Many projects are just cabinets and appliances, or a vanity and shower. Small jobs under $1,000 can be handled as regular handyman work.
